ROSS DRESS FOR LESS® TO HELP LOCAL KIDS LEARN IN MOSES LAKE, WA

In-store giving campaign to provide funds to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin

MOSES LAKE (February 6, 2017) – Every year, nearly four million young people are served by Boys & Girls Clubs. To celebrate these extraordinary efforts, Ross Stores, Inc. announced that it is partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of America with a four-week program called, “Help Local Kids Learn.”  Beginning Feb. 3, customers in Moses Lake and Wenatchee can make a monetary contribution at their local Ross Dress for Less location during checkout to be donated to Moses Lake’s Boys & Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin this February.

“We are proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of America during our annual campaign in February,” said Gary Cribb, Executive Vice President, Store Operations and Loss Prevention for Ross Stores, Inc. “We invite our Ross customers to join us in donating to the Clubs and helping youth develop the skills they need to have a bright future.”

Funds will go towards supporting the Boys & Girls Club program, Power Hour. Power Hour helps Club members ages 6-18 achieve Academic Success by providing homework help, tutoring and high-yield learning activities and encouraging members to become self-directed learners. To support the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin and Power Hour, donations can be made at the register in the amount of $1, $3, $5, or more. Ross will also match donations at the register up to a total of $400,000.
